About Us
ONZ was incorporated as a society in August 2012. We are governed by our constitution, by a board of ophthalmologists and exist to add value to ophthalmologists in New Zealand through support on many matters, these are:
Building relationships and lobbying at a national, local and DHB level with government
Working with health insurance providers and other third party provider to raise the profile of ophthalmologists and their concerns, and
Adding value through resources and education on uniquely New Zealand commercial matters.
